Trent - severn is around the corner!!!

After doing the Erie canal for several years we had already heard great things about the Trent Severn canal. And now it’s time to head up there. This weekend will be going to the tugboat round up in Waterford New York followed by a 5 Hour Drive North through Canada to Trenton Ontario. Like every time I explore something new, what you read about and what you experience often are similar but completely different. I have a guidebook that shows me how to travel to Trent and all the tips. What I’m most excited about is exploring on my own and finding about new things along the way. I’m hoping to do daily blogs on our trip. Our goal initially was to do the entire canal however recent issues with one of the lift locks may make us pivot to a new position and do it up and back trip on the canal. Either way it’s all about being on the water, meeting new people, and visiting a new place. I’m so excited to be able to head north for the September adventure. Stay tuned.
